Dr Maddy completed her medical training at the University of Queensland and began her career in Brisbane, before venturing abroad to London to work in a busy Emergency Department. She later returned to Australia and settled in Melbourne for a number of years where she worked across a wide range of disciplines in hospital medicine before undertaking her specialist training in General Practice (including extended skills training at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre).

Dr Maddy enjoys all areas of community healthcare, but has special interests in menopause management, sexual health and skin cancer medicine. She is passionate about preventative healthcare and enjoys procedural work, such as Implanon insertions, iron infusions and skin excisions.
